President Message

Yadagiri Reddy, President TCA

As the Houston Telugu Cultural Association (TCA) prepares to celebrate its Golden Jubilee, we proudly introduce the newly elected Executive Board and Trustees for the year 2026.

For five decades, the Telugu Cultural Association of Houston (1976–2026) has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Telugu language and culture in Houston. As it marks this remarkable milestone, the Association welcomes its Golden Jubilee year with great pride.

On this prestigious occasion, the Association officially presents the newly elected 2026 Executive Board and Trustees to its members and the wider community.

As the great poet Sri Krishnadevaraya proclaimed, “Among all the languages of the land, Telugu is the finest,” this Association has carried that light forward on foreign soil for five decades. Reflecting the spirit that “one hand alone cannot clap,” the organization has earned its respected place in the community through the collective efforts of its founders, past leadership, trustees, volunteers, and members.

What began as a small seed in 1976 has today grown into a vast, flourishing tree, providing a strong support system for thousands of families. As the saying goes, “A tree grows strong only when its roots are firm,” and the Association’s enduring strength lies in its foundations—tradition, unity, and a spirit of service.

The newly elected Executive Board and Trustees for 2026 have assumed their responsibilities with a firm commitment to carry forward this proud legacy with dignity and dedication.

Guided by the principle “Dharma protects those who uphold it,” they have pledged to serve the community with integrity, transparency, and adherence to the Association’s core values.

In their message, the President and Board members stated, “Our culture is our soul. Our language is our pride,” and called upon every member to be an active part of this journey.

The Trustees reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring organizational stability, financial transparency, and a strong long-term vision.

Inspired by the spirit of “Togetherness brings happiness,” the new leadership team is determined to move forward with the blessings of elders, the guidance of leaders, and the enthusiasm of youth to serve the community even more effectively.

The Golden Jubilee year of the Houston Telugu Cultural Association is not just a milestone—it is a symbol of five decades of sacrifice, service, love, and unity. On this proud occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the new Executive Board and Trustees, along with our warmest wishes on behalf of the community.
