TCA GOLDEN JUBILEE - MISSION STATEMENT

Dear Telugu Community Members and Well-Wishers,

It gives us immense joy and pride to announce that the Telugu Cultural Association (TCA) will mark a historic milestone this year — our Golden Jubilee Celebrations, commemorating 50 years of unity, service, and cultural pride in the Houston area.

The grand celebrations will take place in August 2026, bringing together generations of Telugu families, artists, and well-wishers who have shaped our vibrant community.

Over the past five decades, TCA has been a pillar of Telugu culture in Houston — nurturing language, literature, music, dance, and our deeply held values of community and compassion.

We are deeply grateful to the pioneers and stalwarts who laid the foundation for this organization and guided its journey with integrity, vision, and selfless service.

This jubilee is a heartfelt tribute to our founders, dedicated volunteers, artists, and every member who has helped preserve and promote the rich heritage of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana here in Texas.

OUR MISSION

“గతాన్ని గౌరవిస్తూ, భవిష్యత్తును సుసంపన్నం చేస్తూ: 50 ఏళ్ల తెలుగు సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయం, సౌభ్రాతృత్వం”

Honoring our past, enriching our future: 50 years of Telugu culture, heritage, and community.

In this Golden Jubilee spirit, TCA strives to bring the Telugu community under one umbrella, fostering unity, friendship, and collaboration while celebrating our shared cultural roots and embracing innovation for the next generation.

The Golden Jubilee celebrations will feature:
  • Enchanting cultural performances highlighting Telugu art, music, and folklore
  • Distinguished speakers and special guests from India and across the U.S.
  • Youth and children's talent showcases celebrating creativity across generations
  • Traditional Telugu cuisine and interactive family activities
  • A special “50 Years of TCA” retrospective exhibit honoring our shared journey

We warmly invite you and your family to be part of this momentous occasion. Let us come together once again — to rejoice in our roots, relive cherished memories, and inspire the next generation to carry our legacy forward.

Mark your calendars for August 7th & 8th, 2026 and join us in celebrating this golden chapter of our community's story.
